Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Many researchers have investigated for revealing organic-light-emitting-diodes(OLEDs) to practical use. However, as for, their intrinsic mechanisms, e.g.light emitting mechanisms and their interface states, have not yet been understood completely. In this study, we have studied the emissive site and distribution of excition in OLEDs. We fabricated OLEDs inserted with ultra thin marker layer to site exist several nm apart to determine the emissive site in OLEDs. As a result, we obtained the result that the strongest EL from the TPD/Alq_3 interface in the emissive layer. From this viewpoint, we investigated the emissive site in OLEDs and obtained the guideline to realize OLEDs with high efficiency and high brightness.
