Abstract(in English) This paper describes the molecular structure and packing of poly(di-methyl di-hexyl silane). Poly(di-methyl di-hexyl silane) is co-polymer having a structure of [Si(CH_3)_2Si(C_6H_<13>)_2]_n. The Raman scattering spectrum, X-ray diffraction pattern, and optical absorption spectrum have been measured, and they were compared with those of reference sample. As a result, it is suggested that the conformation of the Si backbone is all-trans at room temperature. It is also found that the phase transition occures above room temperature, and the backbone conformation is suggested to be helix or random in the high temperature phase.
