Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Inelastic electron tunneling spectroscopy (IETS) is observed on the basic interaction of tunneling electrons with molecules at the insulator-electrode interface. We describethe characterization of functional molecule adsorbed monolayers using IETS and its applications for high density recording systems combining STM.
