Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently organic thin film electroluminescent (EL) devices have attracted much interest because of their low driving voltage and high luminous efficiency.EL efficiency can be improved and EL colors can be tuned by doping the emitting layer with fluorescent molecules. In this paper, orange to red light-emitting organic EL devices were fabricated using a tris(8-ilydroxyquinoline)-aluminum (Alq_3) layer doped with 9-diethylamino-5H-benzo £a! phenoxazin-5- one (phenoxazon 9).On the other hand, compared the photoluminescence spectra with the EL spectra,a complex of phenoxazon 9 and a hole transport niaterial (TPD) is found to reduce the EL efficiency.
