Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Enhanced photocurrent by excitations of surface plasmons (SP) has been investigated in organic photoelectric cells of copper phthalocyanine. SP were excited on two metal electrodes using attenuated total reflection (ATR) method. A marked increase in the photocurrent was observed for both SP modes, and the enhanced photocurrent depended considerably upon the wavelengths of incident light. Comparing the experimental results with the calculations for the optical absorption inside the cells, the SP enhanced mechanism has been discussed.
