Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A tantalum electrolytic capacitor using conducting polyaniline as a solid electrolyte has been developed by means of the direct polymerization of aniline on dielectric surface. The capacitor demonstrates the improved characteristics, i.e., a proportional decrease of impedance up to the resonance frequency with high capacitance, small inner resistance, small leakage current and excellent thermal stability, that correspond to the high-speed electronic devices. The estimated conductivity of polyaniline on dielectric surface was higher than that of the powder synthesized in solution with the same protonic acid and oxidant. Due to the high conductivity, the capacitor accommodate high frequency switching.
