Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The chemical modification of the surface of low-density polyethylene films exposed to an atmosphere of fuming sulfric acid for different periods of time has been investigated. Growth of conductive polypyrrole on the surface of sulfonated polyethylene films dipped in a pyrrole/FeCl_3 water solution was carried out and physical properties of these conducting films have been investigated. An actuator using this thin conducting layers has also demonstrated.
