Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We fabricated α-sexithienyl (6T) / p-sexiphenyl (6P) mixed films and measured their optical absorption and luminescence spectra to investigate the possibility for controlling the electronic state of 6T. The spectra of 6T in the mixed films are different from those in solution or in PMMA matrices. When the 6T contents are low, the conformation change of 6T molecules are restricted by 6P around 6T molecules, and the luminescence yield of 6T 0-0 band is drastically improved. This phenomenon can not be explained only using self absorption effect, and indicates their electronic states of 6T are varied by 6T combined with 6P.
