I-V and d^2V/dI^2V-V characteristics of dye molecules using Polyimide LB tunnel junction

Abstract(in English) We fabricated Au/Polyimide (PI)/Azobenzene polyamic acid (AZPAAD)/Pb junctions with various number of deposited PI LB layers as tunneling barrier, and measured the current-voltage (I-V) and d^2V/dI^2-V characteristics of these junctions. The sensitivity of the d^2V/dI^2 measurement was improved by using the junctions with one-layer PI LB film as a tunneling barrier. The change in the IET spectra due to trans-to-cis photoisomarization in AZPAAD monolayers was not detected.
