Determination of interfacial electronic states of phthalocyanine derivative LB films by Surface Potential Measurement

Abstract(in English) Surface potentials of phthalocyanine derivative Langumuir-Blodgett (LB) film on metal electrodes were studied. Two kinds of phthalocyanine derivatives (C6PcCu and CuttbPc) were examined as a function of the number of deposited layers. The distributions of spatial excess charge density and of electronic state at the metal/film interface were determined. It was found that these two distributions clearly depend on the difference of the functional groups of phthalocyanine derivatives.
