Control of Organic Interfaces in an Organic EL Diode : Effect of Insertion of a Silicon Monoxide

Abstract(in English) Recently, organic EL diodes have been studied extensively. But fundamental process of emission has not been sufficiently clarified. We investigated emission process of organic EL diode at the interface between hole transport layer and emissive layer and archived improvement of emission intensity by inserting silicon monoxide in the interface. We also discussed the mechanism of the improvement of emission by study of EL spectra in the device containing marker layer.
