Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Mg electron injection electrode was deposited by ionization-assisted method to fabricate an EL device of ITO/PVCz:TPD/Alq/Mg structure. It was found that the ion irradiation damage can be removed by placing a 50nm vacuum deposited Mg buffer layer on Alq. The EL efficiency was improved by optimizing the Alq/Mg interface condition, while the life time was improved by optimizing the bulk property of Mg at higher ion energy.
