| 抄録(和) | 本論文ではリターゲッタブルコンパイラの新しいバインディングとスケジューリングのアルゴリズムを提案する。組込みシステムで用いられる特定用途向けプロセッサはしばしば「非直交 (non-orthogonal)」で不規則なデータパス構成をとることがあるが、我々はこのようなアーキテクチャにも対応可能な、リターゲッタビリティの高いコンパイラの開発を目的としている。このようなデータパスでは、演算器の割り当てによっては後続する演算を実行する演算器にデータが転送できなくなるという問題が起こり得るため、バインディング (演算の演算器への割り当て) が新たに重要な問題となる。また、演算のスケジューリングにおいても、資源の制約やレジスタの容量を考慮することが新たに必要となる。本稿では、これらの問題の提起と、それを解決するためのアルゴリズムの提案を行なう。 |
| 抄録(英) | This paper presents new binding and scheduling algorithms for a retargetable compiler for embedded systems. We are aiming at developing a highly retargetable compiler which can deal with "non-orthogonal" datapath architecture which is often used in application specific embedded processors. Under the non-orthogonal datapath condition binding becomes a new and hard problem to be tackled because inadvertent assignment of an operation to a functional unit may rule out all the possible assignments to other operations due to reachability constraints among datapath resources. Moreover, in the scheduling phase, resource constraints and capacities of registers must be taken into account. In this paper, we discuss these problems and propose algorithms to solve them. |
