Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The typical approach to radar tracking is to use a Kalman filter technique. Another approach is to use an a-β filter. An H∞ filter is the extension of a Kalman filter. However, it is not clear how to construct a tracking filter using H∞ filter equations that satisfy positive definiteness of the solution of the Riccati difference equation for variable measurement noise statistics. We propose a new tracking method using an H∞ filter where the condition for the existence of a positive definite solution of the Riccati difference equation is the same for various radars. Furthermore, we derive a new a-β filter from this paper's method.
