Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) EVS(Enhanced Vision System) and SVS(Synthesized Vsion System) are known to be effective for pilots to recognize surrounding situations. An experimental EVS was developed and flight experiments were executed with this system to obtain the GPS positioning data and the actual motion picture of scenery The three dimensional(3D) image is reconstructed from the GPS data with the Geographical Survey Institute's map database. These artificial images are compared to the actual motion pictures. This paper presents some of the image and the results of the comparison to actual image.
