Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we introduce a blind signal separation using time-frequency distribution, in order to separate ground penetrating radar (GPR) signals. In taiga, Yakutsk, Russia, we carried out GPR measurement, but we found that direct coupling between a transmitter and a receiver shaded reflected waves from a target. We subtracted a spatially averaged signal from measured signals. But we could not suppress the direct coupling, since surface condition was not flat. We adopted the introduced signal processing to the experimental data, and we showed that it is possible to separate the direct coupling and the reflected waves from a target.
