Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents a target detection scheme in ground clutter used by a stepped frequency radar system at millimeter-wave. Making use of the clutter decorrelation bandwidth for the radar, this detection scheme has a constant false alarm rate (CFAR). In order to investigate the detection performance, we carried out experiments with the W-band stepped frequency radar system, where the clutter statistic characteristic was investigated. The results were discussed as comparing with conventional CFAR detectors.
