Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The geostationary satellite orbit(GSO) is a limited natural resource and its efficient utilization is very important. There are many global or domestic satellites on the GSO and congestions the GSO are very severe problems. Optimum satellite arrangement method, which taking into accent of geographical distribution of severe area or size of severe area, has been studied. In this conventional method, all combination of service area are calculated, as a result, large computation times are required. In this paper, to resolve this problem, the genetic algorithm(GA)method is introduced. By using newly developed GA program, eight service areas model in the Region III area and 40 service areas in the Region I are examply calculated.
