Study on Pim performance generated at mesh reflector antenna

Abstract(in English) Mesh reflector antenna constructed by metal mesh is useful for the mobile communications satellite. But, PIM generation performance is important theme for the development of this antenna because the reflector is constructed by metal mesh. In this paper, we describe the PIM measurement methods for the mesh reflector structure and propose the microwave holography method for PIM measurement. This method is applied to actual reflector(EM)which is consisted by 7modules(ETS-VIII Program), then we show that this measurement method is useful for PIM performance test and PIM generation level of these mesh reflectors are very small.
