Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The optical inter satellite communications is expected to be an important infrastructure in the near future. So authors have developed a beam tracking system using the Beam Trapping Mechanism(BTM)and the Fine Pointing Mechanism(FPM). The BTM and the FPM requires high bandwidth control, high accuracy beam positioning, simple structure, and high reliability. The BTM consists of a translational two-axis convex lens supported by elastic structure, four electromagnetic actuators to non-contact drive. The FPM consists of a rotational two-axis tracking mirror supported by four elastic pivots, four voice coil motors to non-contact drive with large angle rotation, and mirror angular sensor for scanning control. The functional test results show that the beam tracking system reduces the amplitude of the vibration over 200Hz.
