| Abstract(in English) | The Subaru Telescope, an 8.2m optical & infrared telescope of National Astronomical Observatory is presented. Targeted and actual performance, as well as construction process will be briefly described, with the expectation to open a new era of the observational astronomy with such new technology telescopes. Future plan of instrument development in astronomy will be also discussed. |
