Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Free-space laser communication system is one of the promising systems for the future space inter-satellite communication network. The laser communication system offers many advantages which are high data rate, small sized equipment, low consumption electric power and others. There are, however, many development matters to construct a realistic laser communication system. In this paper, we describe a design methodology of the link budget analysis and the emitted intensity statistics for terminal system design with an example of Optical Inter-orbit Communications Engineering Test Satellite(OICETS).
