SANE2000-25 Space Robot Technology Results of ETS-VII Robot Experiments

Abstract(in English) NASDA's ETS-VII satellite that was launched on Nov.28, 1997 successfully conducted its robot missions. The robot missions were conducted by NASDA, MITI(Ministry of International Trade and Indusry), NAL(National Aerospace Laboratory), CRL(Communication Research Laboratory), DLR(Germany Space Center)and ESA(European Space Agency). ETS-VII's mission operation was extended from its originally planed 1.5 years to 2 years. During the extended period of the mission, some universities and comany also participated in the robot experiments. This paper summarizes results of ETS-VII robot experiments.
