Abstract(in English) The vector diffraction problem for a circular waveguide cavity is analyzed rigorously using the Wiener-Hopf technique. The method of solution is a generalization of the approach established previously for the analysis of the axial symmetric diffraction by a circular waveguide cavity, and it rigorously involves the interaction between TM and TE waves.
