Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Some procedures for calculating real height profile of electron density in ionosphere have been presented. However they have unacceptable errors within the valley layer of electron density profile. In this paper, we propose the new estimating method for the ionospheric profile with the parabolic-valley layer. By measuring the group path delays for the multiple reflected waves, the real height profile of electron density can be estimated. The original formulation for the estimating are derived. In order to verify the our new approach, the numerical experiments are adopted. It shows good agreement between model profile and reconstructed profile.
