Abstract(in English) Coherent laser radar(Lidar)is an attractive sensor for the atmosphere observation and airport control because it can measure the wind velocity even in fine weather. In this papar, a coherent lidar with diode-pumped Er, Yb:Glass laser oscillated at eye safe wavelength(1.53μm)is shown. For a number of single-shot velocity estimates of a non moving hard target located about 1.4km, the velocity measurement accuracy of 0.14m/s(standard deviation)is obtained. In 20 pulses averaged measurement, wind velocity up to 6km can be measured obtained S/N ratio is 0dB at 5km. From a number of single-shot amplitude estimates of atmospheric echoes from ranges with high averaged signal-to-noise ratio, a distribution of atmospheric echo's amplitude is estimated to be a logarithmic normal distribution.
