Effect of Clutter Rate on Multitarget Tracking Using Joint Probabilistic Data Association

Abstract(in English) In a multiple target and clutter environment, measurement-to-track or hit-to-track data association is an essential problem. The JPDA(Joint Probabilistic Data Association) is a basic method for the problem. In this paper, assumed to apply to a radar, we investigate the effect of clutter rate on track success rate by JPDA through Monte Calro simulations. As a result, if the clutter rate is 4.0×10^<-12>m^<-3> or less, the track success rate is as good as for in a clutter-free environment.
