Abstract(in English) Multimedia satellite communications system in which the fast data communication is possible using the communica tion satellite is recognized as a comfortable media to access to the internet. As an efficient multiplexing system in this system, we propose the new packet-multiplexing scheme, which is simple enough to implement in hardware, and adaptively generates MPEG2-TS packets in proportion to the number of input ATM cells. This paper shows the results of our investigation into the delay performance, efficiency of multiplexing and fatiness of the proposed algorithm by simulates.
