Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In satellite data communications network consisting of circular orbit satellites with store and forward functions, the data transmission time will become extremely long depending on relative position between transmitting and receiving stations. The paper discusses an effect of the introduction of relay earth stations, and shows from the quantitative evaluation on a particular network configuration that the data transmission time is effectively shortened by arranging the relay earth stations on the earth surface of the Northern hemisphere under the orbitital crossing point.
