Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently MHT (Multiple Hypothesis Tracking) has attracted much attention as a multiple target tracking algorithm.MHT is a tracking algorithm which maintains multiple hypothesis about correlation of observations and target, and tracks targets by deferred-decision. One of the characteristic of MHT is that it has the function of track inhitation. But it has some problems about structure of hypotheses, so we have developed the improved algorithm, track-oriented MHT. In track-oriented MHT hypotheses are structured based on tracks and has an advantage about track initiation. We evaluated the performance of track-oriented MHT by simulation about track initiation comparing with a method with NN(Nearest Neighbor)tracking algorithm and target detecting decision by the frequency of observation in the gateof the pseudo-track. We report the performance evaluation.
