On Degradation of Bit Error Performance caused by Mutual Interference between PSK Signal

Abstract(in English) Interference characteristics in terms of bit error rate are shown by means of computer simulation under the condition that one or two adjacent PSK signals interfere with the desired PSK signal. Bit error rate of the desired signal is also derived by an estimation method based on the amplitude probability density of the interference component and the Gaussian noise conversion method. It is clarified from the quantitative evaluation that the characteristics obtained by both the computer simulation and the estimation method agree well eath other and show different bit error performance depending on the division rate of two undesired PSK signals irrespective of the same interference ratio. On the other hand, the Gaussian noise conversion method, which derives an unique performance for each interference ratio, estimates larger bit error rate compared with the simulated results.
