Some Future Aspects of Air Traffic Management

Abstract(in English) This paper describes future aspects on Air Traffic Management (ATM) the concept of which is being considered in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). ATM is composed of Air Traffic Services the core of which is Air Traffic Control, Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) and Air Space Management (ASM). First, it is explained what ATM is. Secondly the ICAO's activities on reduced separation are explained as the fundamental for ATM. Then airspace simulation experiments and typical researches on system development are explained. Finally technological and operational problems related to an image of future ATM are addressed.
