Time Sidelobe Reduction Technique for Binary Coded Pulse Compression Codes

Abstract(in English) A simple, easy to implement technique is presented that can significantly reduce the time sidelobes of the binary pulse compression codes. It is revealed that PSL (Peak Sidelobe Level) can be drastically reduced by using the new technique, when the compression ratio is about from 5 to 16. Furthermore, the signal-to-noise ratio after compression, the appropriate IF bandwidth and the Doppler tolerance for the new technique are estimated by
