Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) At the underground near the surface, electromagnetic constants considerably change with the rain fall, etc.Accordingly, characteristics of an underground RADAR antenna change.Their variation not only makes antenna design difficult, but also reduces operational range environment of the RADAR. We analyze the strip dipole antenna located on an infinite planar boundary between free half space and the flat earth(relative permittivity ε_r,conductivity σ)using Spectral Dom ain Method(SDM).This paper discusses the formulation of SDM and presents numerical results of impedance characteristics.
