Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When the measured data of the laser radar are analyzed, the laser radar equation is used. The current equation, however, has been consmmd under the assumption that the transmitted beam would propagate as parallel beam, and that the scattering of the transmitted beam has not been considered. In this study, considering the scattering of the transmitted beam the new laser radar equation has been proposed.g the measured data by the proposed equation,it was found that the scaftmg of the nmmitted beam increases in the order of rain, fog, drizzle to snow. To confirm the properness of the proposed equation, the divergence of the transmitted beam was examined in the room filled with fog.As a result,it was found that the collimated laser beam spreads significantly in foggy condition.
