Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Because of its high spatial resolution for cartography, the Advanced Land ObserVing Satellite (ALOS) has a precision requirement for position determination. To meet the requirement, NASDA has been developing a dual-frequency GPS receiver capable of carrier-phase measurement. Unique features of the ALOS GPS receiver include the precise measurement of L2 band carrier phase and the precise generation of reference clock signals. The National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA) has demonstrated the feasibility of the GPS receiver through a series of BBM testings. This paper presents an overview and the development status of the GPS receiver.
