| Abstract(in English) | The SELENE (SELenological and ENgineering Explorer) project is the NASDAs first joint lunar mission with ISAS which is planned to be launched in 2003 by japanese H-IIA launch vehicle. The major objectives of SELENE are to optain scientific data of the lunar origin and evolution, and to develop and test technologies for the future lunar such as soft landing tecchnogy. |
