| Abstract(in English) | COMETS, Communications and Broadcasting Engineering Test Satellite, was launched Feb 21 by NASDAs H-II launch vehicle, however, the satellite was not injected into the planed transfer orbit. We carried out 7 times of the boost maneuvers by using the apogee engine under the environment substantially different from the premise of the design, and succeeded in putting COMETS into subrecurrent orbit. After that, carrying out the deployment of antennae, we did the modification of the installation program of the attitude control system. The experiment operations were initiated from this August. The outline of those satellite operations is described in this report. |
