Abstract(in English) To increase the resolution of SAR(synthetic aperture radar)images ten times, transmitting power is requested one thausand times Iarger than the conventional SAR, on condition that signal to noise ratio of each pixel is kept constant.As it is not easy to increase the transmitting power for the safellite borne radars, we studied about a bistatic SAR, that the transmitter is set on the ground.This system has two advantages.One is to reduce the propagation distance, and another is to make it easy to increase the transmitting power.The system has also an advantage to make it possible the single-pass interferometry, using two transmitting antennas.But we show that the height accuracy is degraded than the monostatic system, because of the baseline decorrelation effect.
