Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we extend the conventional circular prediction algorithm to three-dimentional space and propose the adaptive-gain alpha-beta tracker combined with three-dimentional circular prediction using estimation of the plane state. The estimation of the plane state can improve tracking quality over the circular prediction.Proposed tracking filter is effective for tracking highly maneuvering targets, which changes the turning plane with each scan.Simulation results for various target profiles are included for a comparison of the performances of our proposed scheme with that of conventional tracking filters.
