| 抄録(和) | 全球航法衛星システム(Global Navigation Satellite System, GNSS)は, 米GPSを主軸としつつも露GLONASSほかの要素も含め, 民生面での広範な応用と巨大な市場とを生み出し, 21世紀情報化世界の基本インフラとしての重要性を増している.反面, 軍が開発し今も運用している軍用システムとして, その敵性利用・航法戦争等の脅威も指摘され, 民生/安保の接点としての課題に世界的に関心が高まりつつある.AIAA国際宇宙協力ワークショップ, CGSIC国際シンポジュームの内容を含めて, 国際的背景のもとでの民生面と安保面とにまたがる情勢の現状と課題を紹介する. |
| 抄録(英) | Global Navigation Satellite System, the U.S.GPS at its core but the Russian GLON ASS and other factors also at play, has outgrown its military origin and is producing vast civil applications and markets. While destined to be the basic infrastructure of the 21st Century information age, its core systems are still owned and operated by the military and increasing apprehensions are being voiced of its possible hostile use and the threat of navigation warfare. International implications of the GNSS at the crossroads of civil and national security are summarized, with references to the related activities of the AIAA and the CGSIC. |
