Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A two-dimensional weighted moving average filter is applied on the data obtained with ASDE(Airport Surface Detection Equipment). The filter has weights within each cell of a returned signal. A genetic algorithm is applied to determine the weights because the weights could be obtained faster than by simple searching. In this analysis, a two-dimensional non-weighted moving average filter of which cell size is 5×5 results in 4.77dB of Signal-to-Clutter Ratio(SCR), 0.6dB better than the SCR of a raw data. The weighted moving average filter having the same cell size makes the SCR rise up to 5.51dB, 0.74dB better than the non-weighted filter.
