Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently,7 NM of lateral route spacing for RNP1 dual routes was proposed on the basis of operational judgement. This paper deals with a mathematical model for assessing the probability of critical proximity(PCP)for the proposed system relative to a typical RNP4 system. The ratio of the PCPs,i.e.,one for the proposed RNPI system and another for the RNP4 system,is assessed for lateral position errors which have the double-double exponential(DDE)distribution. The result of numerical analysis suggests that the proposed RNPI system is less dangerous than the typical RNP4 system with 10 NM route spacing except for the case that the weighting parameter of the tail distribution is in the order 10^-1>.
