| Abstract(in English) | The Engineering Test Satellite-Five(ETS-V)was launched by the H- I rocket in August,1987 on the geostationary orbit,150 degrees East,as the world′s first experimental satellite for maritime,aero nautical,and land-mobile satellite communication experiments.We have carried out various field experiments by using this satellite to develop and evaluate mobile terminals.In this presentation, mobile satellite communications experiments,propagation measurements,experiments for hybrid system of position determination and communication by two geostationary satellites, intemational cooperative experiments,Asia-pacific telecommunications network experiments are presented. |
