| Abstract(in English) | The Communications Research Laboratory(CRL)has been carrying out a R&D project of advanced mobile satellite communication system in Ka-band and millimeter-wave.In this project,CRL is developping on- board transponders using advanced technology such as beam inter- connecting and regenerative repeating,which will be installed in the Communications and Broadcasting Engineering Test Satellite(COMETS)being launched in early 1997.Engeneering Models of these devices have been developed.This paper describes outline of performance of these devices,developing plans for mobile terminal and outline of Experiments. |
