Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For the orbit determination of a geostationary satellite by two ranging stations,a useful fact was found out and proved:If the line connecting the two stations is perpendicular to the equatorial plane as viewed from the satellite, and if the tracking period equals the orbital period times and integer, then a ranging bias error will cause no more than a minimized constant longitudianal error in the orbit determination, with the errors in a,e,i, ascending node and perigee being all zero.Orbital accuracy improvement based on this fact is discussed, particularly for the control of multiple satellites crowding at the same orbital position.
