Abstract(in English) In Japan,operational evaluation tests of area navigation have been carried paper describes the method and results of the analysis used for evaluating the navigation accuracy of RNAV equipped aircraft flying on the trial routes.The tracks of the RNAV equipped aircraft are extracted.from the radar data obtained from air route surveillance radars(ARSRs).The flight plan data are used in order to identify the RNAV equipped aircraft Lateral deviations from the route centerline are calculated on the basis of the smoothed track data.Characteristics of lateral deviations are investigated for the data 221 days.Cumulative relative frequency are calculated using aggregated data.The results indicate that at least 95% of lateral deviation data are within distributed ±1NM.
