Abstract(in English) Abstract This paper presents functions designed for an experimental air traffic flow management(ATFM)simulation system,of which purpose is to evaluate flow management techniques.The simulation system is composed of an air traffic control simulator and a flow management console.The flow management console can provide traffic situation,traffic prediction,and estimated arrival time information.It is used as a planning-aid -tool for flow manager.A flow management technique based upon flow characteristics of actual traffic is presented and the effectiveness of the technique and the simulation system is validated based upon the experimental results.
