Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We apply the basic principle of radar polarimetry to the step-frequency radar. We regard the polarimetric target reflection coefficient obtained by Inverse Fourier Transform and synthetic apeture processing as the element of scattering matrix to introduce the polarimetric theory. Result of 1 dimensional imaging and power signature of the scattering matrix, using metalic pipe as targets, calibrated radar system by Single Reference Calibration were given to show the validity of the principle.
