Practical underground survey system

Abstract(in English) Ministry of construction developed an underground void detection vehicle with ground penetrating radar mounted in 1990. The feature of this system is rapid survey speed and reliability in human safe. The vehicle has found more than 400 voids so far. In 1994 a new vehicle has been developed, adding a function of pavement structure survey. The information of pavement structure which is determined through the survey will be effectively used for a repair design and pavement evaluation in road management.
